MINISTERS II SOCIETY PRESENTS: "Karma"

Our search for soul growth and individuality continually leads to times in our lives that may be thought of as a crossroads. These are situations in which we face choices, conditions, experiences, lessons, even people that can enable us to accomplish whatever is next on the soul's learning agenda. Depending on the choices we make, we are lead to another crossroads and another set of possible experiences. The experiences we draw toward us and the lessons that those experiences carry are dependent upon the choices we've made leading up to that moment.

This is called KARMA...

Ey' choice, thought, and decision we make in the present has an effect upon the substance of the next series of potentials and probabilities we draw toward us. One set of choices may lead to growth, transformation, and ultimately happiness, and the other may lead to further problems, frustrations, and personal difficulties. We may not be conscious of the fact that ey'thing we are encountering in life can become meaningful and purposeful in regards to our future, B-u-t such possibilities exist.

This is called KARMA...

Ey'one should be familiar with the terms; cause and effect, reap what you sow or for every action, there is a reaction. All of the aforementioned terms are derivatives of KARMA. The word karma is a Sanskrit term that means work, deed, or act. A common understanding of how karma works is that a person will receive a blessing or a curse based upon the individuals works, deeds, or acts. The law or principle of karma is enforced to hold an individual accountable for his or her thoughts and actions.

In essence, life is an adventure of experiences whereby an individual is challenged to become a better person for having those experiences. An experience alone doesn't determine who the individual is as a person, rather it is how the individual chooses to face those experiences. From the perspective of karma, an individual's growth is based solely upon how well he or she deals with the opportunities and circumstances that present themselves in daily life. Negative responses to situations and experiences will develop negative results. You can only conquer past negative deeds with present-day positivity.

To be clear, Karma is not really a debt that must be paid, nor is it a set of specific circumstances that must be experienced because of past deeds or misdeeds from the past. Individuals remain in control of their lives through how they choose to respond to the situations they've drawn to themselves from prior acts. Ultimately, all KARMA experiences are for one's personal growth and soul development.

The underlying purpose of this writing is to bring to light the importance of personal responsibility in shaping the course of our lives and the condition of the world around us. We are currently in prison, yet we still utilized our time, talent, and money to bring about change in our community. Simply stated, we understand that we have a profound effect upon ey' soul we encounter and we have an integral role in creating our lives; our experiences, our relationships, even world events. So, we choose to Minister II Society to bring about change. Our lives are not predestined, instead, we are active "Creators" in its revelations. (Sole-Controler)

This is called KARMA...

As you said you guys are in prison using your time and money and talent to further better your community, But would you say that enough isn't being done out here by those who are trying to do the same but on the same note have more access to resources than you guys... or would you say you are joining an ongoing fight to better communities everywhere? By the way, love your music!

Sims, I truly believe it is an ongoing push for change. We are joining. Our community activist on the streets need the support of us Brothers locked up, to give a 1st hand experience of what the pitfalls are of the senseless violence in our neighborhoods. We have the perspective & voice that has been missing... - HYMN -

Thanks for your support & the question... This view point from the Ministers is necessary & long overdue. I wouldn't say that we're joining because to join would mean you weren't already apart of... We've been in these battles of racial disparities & inequalities of all sorts in these courtrooms & throughout the justice system. The world it seems, is just now waking up & joining this ongoing fight. We on this side of the wall, been planing & had ideas, as well as voices. We were only lacking the platform & the opportunity to be heard in what we call, "The Society Way..." - King James -
