MINISTERS II SOCIETY PRESENTS: "CHANGE"

A lot of us are scared of change, scared to try another way of doing things. The way 85% of us have been living is leading us in the wrong direction. (Prison or Early Death) I know and understand its hard to lead the masses in the right direction, B-u-t change is possible.

As with any other process, change starts with knowledge. The proper information gives you a solid foundation to stand on. My personal advice is to start with your history, prior to slavery. Knowing your history and the achievements of your ancestors gives you self pride and changes the way you carry yourself.

In "Message to the Blackman" the Honorable Elijah Muhammad says, "First, my people must be taught the knowledge of self. Then and only then will they be able to understand others and that which surrounds them. Anyone who does not have a knowledge of self is considered a victim of either amnesia or unconsciousness and is not very competent. The lack of knowledge of self is a prevailing condition among my people here in America. Gaining the knowledge of self makes us unite into a great unity. Knowledge of self makes you take on the great value of learning."

We can't fix the problems we face today unless we know how we got here. By studying the past it allows us to see how our present day conditions were created. Our strengthes and weaknesses are results from the successes and failures of our collective past. So, if we want to create a better present and future we must learn from those who came before us.

The Ministers II Society are invoking change. We're changing minds, ways and actions, perspectives, and culture, all to provide our people with the strength and power to elevate to a whole other level.
